Incase an individual \/ entity buys share in an organization, have ownership stakes in a particular organization through purchasing its stock. The stock is the evidence of ownership in the total Corp. value and gives the holder of stocks specific privileges in the course of the Corp.\u2019s operations, for example, voting rights in important decisions and receiving dividends should the Corp. pay out some of its earnings to the owners. Companies use equity as a form of capital to finance their operations and growth, while as an investor, quantity of the stock owned determines its proportionate interest in the corporation and its revenues.
