Just as a transversal intersects with two other lines and buildings eight angles at the points of intersection. Same-side interior angles are two of these angles that share specific characteristics: they are situated in opposite quadrants of the transversal one being on the upper side and the other on the lower side, within the region bound by the pair of lines crossed by the transversal and are not neighbours to each other. These angles are critical in geometry, particularly when working with parallel lines. If the two intersected lines are parallel this means that same-side interior angles are supplementary that is the sum of the angles is equal to 180 degrees.
