The construction company has undertaken the project to remodel a commercial office building in a prime location. The building has two floors with four offices on each floor. A remodelling blueprint has been prepared based on which this statement of work is being presented. A list of materials would be prepared and the source of materials and labour would be drafted.
1. The brands of the new fixtures and fittings have to be decided.
2. Firstly, dry wall work is required. Secondly, doors and windows would be constructed and painted. Thirdly, the doors and windows would be installed along with the new frame.
3. Next, current painting of the wall including wallpapers to be removed. Then new painting would be done. The painting would be preferably latex for the rooms and oil for the washrooms and cafeteria. The colours would be decided by the client.
4. Wooden false ceiling with lighting fixtures would be completed after which drop ceiling panels would be installed.
5. The carpets would be removed and the floor cleaned for new installation. The offices and the corridors would be carpeted with separate colours and types of new carpets as chosen by the client.
6. After the completion of the painting and carpeting work the vinyl base would be installed on all floorings.

The primary objective of this statement of work is to gather the materials and labour required to accomplish the above-mentioned tasks. Other objectives in accordance to the tasks are as follows:
1. This construction company is working as a contractor to supply the tools and the labour required for the completion of the remodelling tasks. The company would ensure best quality materials and best skilled labour to complete the tasks within estimated deadlines.
2. The dismantling of the current fixtures and fittings and installation of the new would be done according to established safety protocols.
3. The company aims to avoid accidents by keeping the work floor clean at all times.
4. The approximate timeline for the entire project is aimed at two weeks.
A SMART Approach would be taken to complete the project.
Firstly, the Specific goals would be set as mentioned above.
Secondly, the goals would be Measurable with the help of established milestones.
Thirdly, the milestones would be kept Achievable, which means realistic deadlines and budget would be fixed to avoid overestimation or underestimation.
